Alejandro Castellote is a regional analyst at Danfoss, where he works in a financial advisory role for the North American management team. Prior to Danfoss, Alejandro served as financial analyst for Cargill where he worked on controlling functions for manufacturing plants, risk management, and various financial reporting. Alejandro has a passion for bestowing knowledge about financial matters that can often seem overwhelming/difficult in as simple terms as possible. In his spare time, Alejandro is heavily involved in sports (primarily soccer and tennis), he loves camping/hiking, and reading. Alejandro is excited to meet, work with and learn from courageous entrepreneurs.
Frank DeSantis recently retired as Program Director at the Emerging Enterprise Center (EEC), a Business Incubator that serves early stage & start-up businesses in New Castle County. After a 36 year “Intrapreneurial” career in the corporate world with Sears, both in stores and home office, Frank has spent the last 8 years helping small business owners start and grow their companies, first with SCORE Delaware, and for the past 4 ½ years at the EEC. Frank’s understanding of both the strategic and practical sides of running the business has helped EEC companies grow their business, develop business skills, and refine their business model so they are scalable and successful.
Frank is proven General Manager who has combined customer focused, operationally driven, P&L accountability, strategic business development experience and customer relationship marketing management (CRM), to produce company recognized results. His experiences include, District Management over 9 stores and $200 Million in sales; Customer Relationship Management and Privacy; Retail Direct Mail Marketing processes that encompassed, $1BB revenue and $125 MM expense. Marketing of a multi-channel, web-based, campaign management and reporting software project; Director, Strategy & Business Development; Management of a $45 Million store overseeing a staff of 13 managers and 400 associates.; Region Human Resource management administering HR policies including compensation, benefits and employee relations, for 110 units and 20,000 associates; Negotiated union contracts and successfully preserved non-union workplace in 5 union drives; Campus Recruiting; Management of Training Center for new college graduates.
Throughout his career, Frank has demonstrated the ability to deliver results. He has been recognized twice by the Delaware Small Business Administration (SBA); in 2017 with a Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2012, as Strategic Partner of the Year when he was with SCORE. Also, in 2017, the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce awarded Frank, the Entrepreneurial Advocate of the Year Award. At Sears, Frank led or participated on teams that were winners of the prestigious Chairman Awards for innovation and for financial performance.
Frank continues to stay engaged in the entrepreneurial community, the Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation and St. Anthony’s Italian Festival.
Kevin Fasic has practiced employment and construction law for over 20 years. His practice is primarily management-based, and includes discrimination claims, wage and hour issues, Davis Bacon/Prevailing Wage claims, employment agreements (including restrictive covenant issues and severance agreements), hiring and firing guidance, unemployment claims, and legislative affairs. He appears frequently before various administrative boards and agencies, as well as private dispute resolution forums. He has experience practicing before all of Delaware’s state and federal trial and appellate courts and has experience with trial and appellate matters in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Kevin is certified by the Delaware Superior Court as both a Mediator and as an Arbitrator, and can serve in either capacity for labor/ employment and construction law disputes Mr. Fasic was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1965, received his B.A. degree from Lehigh University in 1988 and his J.D. degree from the Widener University School of Law in 1995. He is a former investigator for the Delaware Department of Labor and a frequent speaker on employment and construction law topics for various professional and trade organizations. In addition, he also taught as an adjunct faculty member for Wilmington College.

In 2014, he received the “Associate/Supplier Member of the Year” award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Delaware Chapter.
Robert Hackman is the founder and principal of 4C Consulting, a Consulting and Coaching practice centered around Strategic Sales and Marketing and Change Management. Collaborating with business leaders to increase the reliability of their sales revenues and grow their companies. 4C Consulting works primarily with leaders of closely held businesses in manufacturing, supply chain, and family business enterprises.
Holding a wide variety of leadership roles in companies from start-up to $200 million in revenues, he was instrumental in turning around sales and profitability in manufacturing and distribution firms. Robert has consulted and coached in a wide range of companies and industries.
He earned a B.S. degree in Marketing from Drexel University and an M.S. degree in Organizational Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Robert completed the core curriculum of the Coaches Training Institute, is a certified DiSC trainer, completed the advanced course of the Inquiry Institute, and earned a Certificate of Distribution Management at Ohio State University. He remains active in the non-profit Men Mentoring Men, for which he served as President.
Robert is an avid reader of non-fiction and enjoys hiking, cycling, and cooking.
Lisa Kirkwood is the Senior Vice President, RVP for the State of Delaware for TD Bank. Lisa oversees all business development activity for TD’s Commercial and Small Business operations in Delaware.
Lisa joined TD Bank in 1988 and has more than 29 years’ experience in banking with a focus on commercial community banking. Most recently, Lisa served as a Senior Relationship Manager in Massachusetts where she managed TD’s regional commercial loan portfolio for Southeastern Massachusetts.
Lisa resides in Wilmington, Delaware and serves on the boards of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Bankers Association, University of Delaware’s Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, Delaware Business Roundtable, and Milford Housing Authority, and is a member of the Maritime Exchange for the Delaware River & Bay.
A graduate of the University of Richmond in Virginia, Lisa is currently earning her Master’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston.
Sherwood Robbins Sherwood serves as Seedcopa’s Managing Director. Seedcopa is a private, non-profit organization created over 35 years ago to help small business get the money they need to start, grow, and expand their businesses. In this capacity, he oversees a staff of 6 professionals; interacts with banking partners throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and beyond; manages the partner relationships with numerous State-Wide Economic Development Agencies; and is responsible for the enhancement of Seedcopa’s process and menu of financing services. He is proud of Seedcopa’s history and its staff, with 80 combined years of dedicated government lending experience
Sherwood joined Seedcopa in 2007 as a Relationship Manager to further expand its SBA 504 loan program and to develop SBA and USDA facilitation services for banks looking to enter the Government Loan arena. Since that time, the organization has added new State loan programs to its offering as well. During those 10+ years at Seedcopa, over 350 loans across all programs have been approved. Borrowers have committed to creating over 4,600 local jobs through these Federal and State economic development loan programs.
Prior to joining Seedcopa, Sherwood spent over 20 years in the banking industry, acquiring experience and developing skills in Commercial Banking, Retail and the Investment departments. For most of those years, he’s served as a dedicated Government Loan lender, developing an extensive network of business associates and centers of influence. He enjoys many national and local guest-speaking invitations each year, covering the key aspects of SBA and other Federal and State government loan programs.
Charles Welde started his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant. He has over 38 years of experience helping individuals reduce their tax bill through proper planning. In 2001, Charles saw an opportunity to integrate both tax planning and wealth planning. He became a Certified Financial Planner, and he has helped many families plan for a tax efficient retirement. Charles continues to inspire others by creating simple written plans that are easy to understand and implement.
Charles was born in Philadelphia and has been a lifelong resident of our area. He attended Cardinal O’Hara High School and Villanova University. He is the second eldest of 11 children. Charles serves on the Board of the Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre. He enjoys golfing, traveling, movies, and sports. Most of all, he is grateful when spending time with his wife, Peg, their daughters, Lauren, Tara, and Dana, as well as family and friends.
